GATHR® - Frequently Asked Questions
What is Gathr®?
Bring "Protocol 7" to a venue near you and dive deep into this epic whistleblower story in a theater setting, free from distractions. Our Theatrical On Demand® model is designed to bring together communities, enthusiasts, and newcomers alike.
How do Gathr® screenings happen?
Initiate a Gathr® screening by rallying a minimum number of ticket reservations before the deadline. Each screening page provides live updates on the number of tickets reserved, how many more are needed to confirm the screening, and the remaining time to make it happen. If the target is met on time, the screening goes ahead. If not, you will have the option to buy out the theater for the time slot and manage the tickets your way.
How do I reserve or purchase a ticket?
Simply enter your zip code on our "Organize a Screening" page. Look for "Protocol 7" screenings represented by dots on the map—click to learn more and reserve your spot!
What’s the difference in the dot colors on the map?
A dark green dot means the screening hasn’t yet reached its reservation goal. Click to reserve your ticket with a pre-authorization on your credit card. A bright green dot indicates the goal has been met, and your ticket purchase will be processed immediately.
When will my credit card be charged?
Only once the screening achieves the necessary reservations. If the goal isn't met within the allotted time, no charges apply.
Can I organize this screening as a fundraiser?
Absolutely! Gathr® has empowered countless grassroots theatrical releases nationwide. Whether you represent a nonprofit or just want to rally your community, use this screening as a powerful tool to inspire and engage. Our Donation Tool is also available to support your fundraising efforts. Remember, while Gathr® manages the ticketing, fundraising coordination is in your hands.
What can I do to make my screening happen?
Start with your inner circle—friends, family, and colleagues—and expand outwards. Utilize social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Leverage our screening toolkit for effective promotion. Be imaginative—the more people hear about it, the more likely your screening will become a reality!
What are the responsibilities of a Movie Captain?
As a Captain, your mission is to champion "Protocol 7" within your community. Guide potential viewers to your screening page for reservations. Remember, your screening's success depends on advance ticket reservations, so your promotional efforts are crucial!
